At the age of 35, I was living the lifestyle that most little girls dream about.  I was married to my high school sweetheart.  He was a firefighter; I worked part-time for a pediatrician.  We had two beautiful children, a girl and a boy.  We lived in a desirable suburb of Los Angeles and our dream house was perched on top of a hill.  We had an adorable dog.  We didn’t even have any car payments!  Only thing missing was the white picket fence.

But at the age of 36, everything changed.

I became a widow.

The sudden and tragic loss of my husband thrust me into a heartache and a lifestyle I wasn’t sure how to navigate.

I had two choices…

Cling to my faith or get lost in the fire.

God said, “When you pass through the fire, you will not be burned; the hard trials will not hurt you.” (Isaiah 43:2)

My name is Jennifer Osler-Bolton and I am living between Faith & Fire.
